Have you heard about the HOPE Program?
HOPE — Helping Outstanding Pupils Educationally — is Georgia's unique scholarship and grant program that rewards students with financial assistance in degree, diploma, and certificate programs at eligible Georgia public and private colleges and universities, and public technical colleges.

HOPE is funded entirely by the Georgia Lottery for Education, which also funds Georgia's statewide prekindergarten program. Since the HOPE Program began in 1993, over $5.8 billion in HOPE funds have been awarded to more than 1.4 million students attending Georgia's colleges, universities, and technical colleges.

You will also need to get a hearing and vision screening test for most school age children. I moved in in July and didn't have a pediatrician yet...you can get these screenings done at several of the local med centers I got mine completed at STAT Medical in Johns Creek.
